Applications will open on AUGUST 25th at 12:00 AM MST and run to THE END OF THE MONTH, 11:59 PM MST.
Please post and link the following Application Form in your character's journal:
Player: Your preferred handle.
Contact: Plurk, discord, journal PM, etc.
Age: We just need to confirm you’re over 18, because of game content.
Other Characters: Any other characters you play in Route 666. If not applicable, just type “N/A”
Name: Your character’s name.
Canon: The canon your character is from.
Canon Point: Where are you pulling your character from?
Age: Character’s age, reminder the game does not skew younger than 13.
Backstory: You may either link to a wiki or write a summary. If you are writing a history, we would like a quick summary on what happened, and which parts of canon had the biggest impact on your character. We don't need anymore than 1-2 paragraphs, or 300ish words.
Personality: Please keep this to 1,000 words or less. We’re looking for a good understanding of how your character acts by default, as well as in different situations. If you need a template, feel free to make use of this one:
+Default emotional state and temperament: what is your character normally like? What personality do they show to the world, and is this at odds with how they really feel?
+Motivations and goals: What drives them, in both the long term and the short term? What pushes them to keep going even when things are tough?
+Regrets and fears: What holds them back? What do they want to avoid at all costs?
+Breaking points: What can cause them to fly off the handle in rage? Or break down in tears? Or alternately just shuts them down entirely?
+Values: What do they admire in themselves or in other people? Do they have any codes or beliefs that they try to uphold?
+How do they handle change and trauma? Specifically the changes and trauma of turning into a monster?
+Closing statements: Anything else you wish to add or sum up?
Powers/Abilities: Both supernatural abilities, or mundane skills your character is really good at! PLEASE REMEMBER, YOU ARE LIMITED TO 3 CANON POWERS AT THE START.
Inventory: What your character has on their person when they arrive in game.
Game Plans: Tell us what you want to do in game with this character!
Monster Choice: Pick your starting/favorite monster type. We ask you to list your three favorite monsters types, and we will choose from them. You may also choose a single species from each type. (example, selecting Dragon or Chimera from Drakonis!) You may also add a quick 1-2 sentence blurb on why you think these monsters would be a good fit.
Alternately, you may choose "Randomize Me!" and the mods will select a monster from the list for you.
Vehicle Choice: Pick your vehicle and please choose one quality for it.
Sample: We would like 5 comments in a single thread from the TDM showing your character voice, please!
